What Is It?
Tea tree oil is a natural oil that is taken from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant which is native to the northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia. The leaves of the tea tree are steamed and then squeezed to produce light yellow oil that has a smell that is reminiscent of nutmeg.
History
Tea tree oil was initially discovered because of its wide use among the aborigine tribes. For thousands of years, these people had been accessing tea tree oil’s natural ability as an antibacterial, or disinfectant.
Once Great Britain got involved in Australia, there was an immediate demand for tea tree oil after researcher Arthur Penfold published the first reports of the oil’s antimicrobial activity, rating it 11 times more active than phenol.
Although the popularity of tea tree oil started to ebb after the advent of cheap antibiotics, there has not been any stalling in the research of this peculiar oil. In fact, the scientific community has recently confirmed that tea tree oil has tremendous medicinal benefits and for this reason, many people are returning to tea tree oil as an alternative to other, harsher Western medicines.
Benefits of Tea Tree Oil
This oil has been found to have unique compounds that make it a popular and completely natural agent for curing all three types of infectious organisms: fungus, bacteria, and virus.
But even more importantly, it is known to effectively fight a number of bacteria that have evolved to be resistant to some antibiotics. Because of this, tea tree oil is gaining popularity rapidly within the acne treatment industry.
Now, more than ever, people find themselves struggling with stubborn acne that just doesn’t seem to go away despite all the severe prescription treatments they try. This is often due to the fact that our diets and lifestyle have exposed our bodies to so many toxins that have mutated and evolved to be resistant to our common remedies.
To combat these newer microbes that find their way into our pores and leave our skin looking less than its best, it is surprisingly best to return to the basics, or those disinfectants that have worked since before history began.
How Does It Work?
Tea tree oil naturally contains terpinene, cineole, pinene, and cymene, making it an innate combatant to many viruses, bacteria and fungi, so when applied topically, tea tree oil will automatically help your body fight against those things that can cause infections in our pores.
Because the body doesn’t have to work as hard to fight its own infections, you’ll find less dead white blood cell buildup, less redness and inflammation and more healthy pores.
Cons to Tea Tree Oil
Although you should be careful using tea tree oil around your eyes or mouth, this natural antiseptic has proven itself to have very few unsavory side effects.
Because of this, we can wholeheartedly recommend tea tree oil as a successful way to get rid of unsightly blemishes and help repair your skin.

The teenage years are the most recognized time for problems. You will find that during the teenage years, many think of acne as some kind of crisis. Ironically, some of the most severe cases of acne actually occur in adults. There are completely different varieties of acne that develop during that time. But during the teenage years, it is at is most abundant, hormones are raging, and there is a certain urgency to deal with it right then. So what are the best acne treatments made specifically for teenagers?
There are plenty of acne treatments out there, and it seems that we always run to benzoyl peroxide based treatments first. Most of the time, these are not the best acne treatments. Why? It’s not because benzoyl peroxide doesn’t work. Actually, it’s easily one of the most effective acne treatments on the market. The problem is that most products don’t use enough! They use 2.5% when you should have at least 5% if not 10%! They rely only on benzoyl peroxide, when for the best acne treatments for any age group, you should be using a diverse selection of natural ingredients depending on your particular needs.
For the best acne treatments, you do actually need to get a diverse selection of approaches. If you are looking for the best acne treatments, there are many different options out there to choose from, and of course, there are many different products for differing skin types. Half the battle of fighting teenage acne is figuring out just what your skin type might be. But once you have figured this out, you can find the best acne treatments for your needs.

ExtenZe is a popular male enhancement pill that they claim will help you to achieve the better results that you are looking for. They claim that it has the best all natural male enhancement abilities that you are looking for. So what are the pros and cons of ExtenZe? Well, obviously it has been on the market for a while. But we’ll lay out the facts about this popular male enhancement pill. But most of that is due to advertising. They advertise through TV and other popular methods that get a lot of attention without paying as much attention as we would like to the actual facts, to the fine details, to the details quite frankly that really matter in general terms.
ExtenZe Pros
1. ExtenZe has both a male and female version for sexual enhancement in general.
2. ExtenZe has proven ingredients including proven aphrodisiacs, testosterone boosters, and other proven ingredients.
3. ExtenZe has horny goat weed, a popular and effective aphrodisiac.
ExtenZe Cons
1. ExtenZe has yohimbine, which can cause heart attacks, strokes, renal failure, and kidney failure
2. ExtenZe has caffeine related side effects
3. ExtenZe does not have enough of any of the ingredients that you would need to actually see successful results
4. The ExtenZe formula for men has a female specific ingredient known as damiana
5. Some of the ExtenZe ingredients have nothing at all to do with sexual enhancement for either sex
As you can see, ExtenZe is not the formula you want to actually use. It does not have a lot of the things you should be looking for. However, I would recommend that you check out a product called Orexis. Orexis has the right ingredients, and it has the right amounts. It doesn’t have the risks of ExtenZe, and in total, it goes without saying that this has some serious pros. I would definitely recommend Orexis.

I am so angry right now…. I have this big zit on my chin like the size of a nickel and it is not ready but just forming. I have this big date on Saturday night, and a big zit to join us. I have tried everything to stop this acne problem I have but I just do not know what to do anymore. I have tried proactive, Clearasil, Neutrogena. I wash my face every night and morning; I don’t know what to do about it. I have so many black heads on my chin and nose, where and why do they come?
I thought after being all grown up this problem would go away, but I guess I was wrong. I wish there was an answer, so now I have to go out with this huge zit on my chin, with this totally hot guy. Well it is Wednesday let’s pray for the best and hope it is gone by Saturday. I will be putting lots of warm rags on it when I get home, hoping it will just go away. Someone once told me to use cold sore stuff, but I am afraid it might dry out the area and make it look worse.
September 2nd, 2009
So I started to break out today all over, in a panic I grabbed what I thought was the Clearsil cream out of the drawer, and dabbed it all over my face and out the door I went. Well driving some people started to look at me weird; I really thought nothing of it really. Then I noticed a child pointing at me and laughing, so I was make silly faces at the child. Then what appeared to be the mother looked at me in disgust, and I wondered did I have a booger in my nose?
So I looked in the mirror and I had all these white polka dots all over my face. I could not figure out why as seeing the Clearsil was clear, and has always been. So I tried the spit on your finger and wipe off method, only by time I had gotten to work, I had these red, and I mean red blotches all over my face. Well had no idea why, and it looked awful. But to my amazement when I had gotten home and looked to see what I put on my face it was vagisil. On the flip side of the red blotches some of the larger zits I had have reduced in size dramatically. I think I found a new zit remedy, but I have to consider the side effects.

Its effects depend in large part upon the individual using them. For example, some girls I know get really angry while taking birth control pills due to the hormone supplementation among other things. But for girls between the ages of 12 and 24 who suffer from acne the most as well as older women who are still in that area of life, you could actually benefit from Ortho Tri-Cyclen in your battle against acne.
IT is a birth control pill using progesterone and estrogen, and it has been shown to actually decrease testosterone levels and accordingly decrease excess acne levels in women who use it. Now androgens and testosterone in general are not bad. It’s when they reach excessive levels. Women in general are extra sensitive to these excess levels, and so they could suffer a myriad of different problems because of it including but not limited to acne. So balancing this out allows you to get the greater balance you need in terms of testosterone levels and therefore clear many acne problems in general.

This is an idea that came from my great grandmother, who was around in the days of the pioneers, literally, a child at that time. But obviously, they didn’t have regular acne treatments and therefore couldn’t take the conventional paths we do now with benzoyl peroxide and all that. But when she was a child and they suffered from acne, of course they did their best to cleanse their faces and skin. But they also used a mixture of baking soda and water.
It seems so simple I realize, but apparently it really worked more effectively than I would’ve thought before hearing it from her. It can certainly be too harsh for some people, it was not too harsh for her though as our family tends to have hardier skin in general. It’s very simple and it will save you a lot of trouble. It has worked for some people I’ve heard of even in these days, though some choose not to use it just as they choose not to use Proactiv. I personally wasn’t told about it until I reached a lower level of acne. So I know it works for lower levels of acne, but I did not have a chance to test it on more severe acne.
